Examine Life Insurance Carrier Rating
Easy - Only use “A” rated (or better) companies...
If you did what we recommended above (brokerage selection), this won’t be an issue.
However, if you skipped that part you will now need to make sure the company you are considering is at least “A” rated by “A.M. Best Company”. There are other ratings companies, but A.M. Best is most well known.
